“The Trump administration plans to open a US consulate in Greenland for the first time in several decades because of the growing strategic and economic interests of Americans in this Danish territory,” Time reports citing a copy of the letter.
According to him, the United States has a strategic interest in expanding political, economic and trade relations in the Arctic region.
