The Racing 92, finalist of the 2016 and 2018 European Cups, will receive the Saracens, three titles in four years, from the first day of the group stage on November 17 at the Arena, according to the calendar announced Friday by the organizer.
At least the Parisians will be fixed at the entrance. Fell in the hen with the Londoners and Munster, semifinalist of the last edition, the players of Laurent Travers are doomed to the feat against the Sarries if they want to hope to win the quarter-finals.
Present in the last box in the spring, Toulouse, which co-holds with the Leinster the record of the number of coronations (4), will open the competition Friday 15 in Gloucester.
Clermont will start Marcel-Michelin against the Harlequins, which they had narrowly defeated (32-27) in the same enclosure in the semi-final of the Challenge before dominating La Rochelle (36-16) in the final. Rochelais also back in the flagship competition and will receive Exeter to start.
Lyon will move to Northampton and Montpellier to Galway against Connacht.
The first of each pool and the top three runners-up will qualify for the quarter-finals.
The final will take place in Marseille on May 23, 2020.
