Two elementary schoolmates suffered a lot of friendships because of the 'begging' they were drinking.

On Monday, the New Zealand Herald and other foreign media told the story of 36-year-old Jamie Sutherland and Louis Lands of Queensland.

In 2017, the two made a bet while having dinner together at a restaurant. Mr. Sutherland said, "I'll bet 10,000 New Zealand dollars (about 7.7 million won for our money) because the earth is flat." Mr. Lanz said, "I'll bet on the round," he said, "The loser must pay."

A year later, the two came across a gas station by chance. The bet seemed to be forgotten, but not Sutherland. As soon as he saw Mr. Lanz, he pulled out his bow and threatened to kill him, saying, "I won the bet, why don't you pay me?"

Sutherland, who was demanding money for his friend's explanation of "drinking jokes," barely went late at night.
Then in February of this year, Sutherland, who met Mr. Lanz again in the neighborhood, said, "I will kill you and kill my father. I shouted.

In the end, Lands reported Sutherland. And recently in court, "I believe my friend did not really kill me," he said, "I hope you will not be convicted of friends."

He added, "I want to learn from this trial and stay away from me in the future."

Sutherland was reportedly apologizing that he would never ask for a bet again after he was rejected by a court last Tuesday.
