Yemeni coalition forces arrested and shot down two drones launched yesterday by Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias from Yemen's Amran province towards Khamis Mushayt in Saudi Arabia.

The spokesman for the coalition forces, Col. Turki al-Maliki, said in a statement broadcast by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that all attempts by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias to launch drones are doomed to failure, and the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of rules of engagement to deal with these aircraft To protect civilians.

He pointed out that the repeated terrorist attempts express the despair of these terrorist militias, and confirm the criminalization of Iran's agents in the region and those behind them, as it stresses the magnitude of the losses of its terrorist elements, which throws them every day in a losing battle, causing a state of social and popular discontent.

Al-Maliki stressed the continued leadership of the joint coalition forces to implement deterrent measures against these terrorist militias to neutralize and destroy these capabilities and strictly, in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules.

The coalition takes all operational procedures and best rules of engagement practices to deal with drones to protect civilians.
