“One of the police officers was elected a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for a period up to October 19 inclusive,” RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.
It is clarified that another law enforcement officer, at the request of the investigation and the prosecutor’s office, was extended the period of detention “for 48 hours”.
At the same time, the third police officer was also placed under arrest until October 19.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg, three police officers were detained on charges of raping a girl born in 1997 in a company car.
