The criteria for selecting games were their popularity and the availability of support by developers (updating content).
“In addition, the compliance with the age mark of 14+ was important criteria in order to keep the psychological health of children safe, as well as compliance with the national criteria for e-sports,” the text of the appeal says.
Experts are sure that the selected games allow you to develop teamwork skills, logic, reaction speed and creative potential.
RT has previously written about the initiative of Iran to organize school elective classes in e-sports.
As conceived by the authors, an experiment on conducting such classes can be included in the federal projects “Modern School” and “Digital Educational Environment”.
Specialists also suggested holding appropriate tournaments between schools and regions.
In the State Duma, commenting on the proposal, noted that such classes would be a good alternative to the lessons.
