The forest fires that ravaged the Amazon have become major politics. Today, the country's president, Jair Bolsonaro, said environmental activists may be behind the fires to put him in a bad day.

"Many Bolosnaros voters see the demolition of the Amazon as an opportunity to expand economically into the Amazon, with livestock management, soybean cultivation and mining," says Tigran Feiler.

At the same time, there is great concern in other camps.
