Ahmed bin Humaidan, Chairman of Dubai Federal Election Commission, said that the registration process of candidates during the five days of the nomination was successful by all standards, and is an indication of the success of the propaganda campaigns that will start after the announcement of the final list of candidates, as it witnessed full compliance with the instructions received, stressing that the procedures Facilitation on the candidates helped to register without significant hindrance.

He added that the participation of applicants to run for parliamentary competition, of both sexes, was rich in terms of age groups and scientific and cultural backgrounds, including employees, retirees, military and workers in the government and private sectors, in addition to the participation of distinguished people of determination.

Bin Humaidan said in a press statement yesterday that the announcement of the final list will be followed by the start of the propaganda campaigns received by the Committee from the candidates, expecting that there will be no breach during the propaganda period, attributing this to the awareness of the candidates and their compliance with the instructions during the application period.

He explained that the controls and criteria set for the candidates are contained in the handbooks received by the candidates, and published on the website of the National Elections Commission, explaining that the mandate of the Commission, in addition to the control of advertising campaigns, to provide assistance and facilities for the candidate.

He added: «We look at the positives, and we believe that the success of the experiment will be nominated who deserves to convey the voice of citizens and express their demands».

The President of the Emirates Businesswomen Council, candidate Farida Abdullah Al-Awadhi, praised the organizational procedures implemented by the National Committee for Federal National Council Elections and the Dubai Election Committee, adding that «the atmosphere of registration was positive, and the organizers of the Committee showed great cooperation with citizens wishing to run, and then "It took me five minutes to register."

She said that she has submitted papers to nominate her to participate in the parliamentary election wedding in the country, in order to contribute to the service of the UAE society.

He added that he took the decision to run in the parliamentary elections about six months ago, after he found support and welcome from family, relatives and friends, in addition to the people of experience.

Al-Osaimi said he wanted to express the voices and ideas of all strata and segments of society, including those of determination, who is one of them, who knows their needs and requirements, which will enable them to express their issues under the dome of parliament.
