The accident occurred just north of Lönashult, which is south of Växjö. The truck ended up in the ditch for unknown reasons and then went over the road.
The driver was out of the vehicle when the rescue service arrived at the scene and must have survived unharmed. The accident should also not lead to any leakage on the road.
On the other hand, the accident causes major traffic disruptions for those traveling on the route.
- Road 126 is completely blocked at least one hour. Those who have that road to drive should choose a different route. It can take more than an hour to get to the rescue, says Hans Fransson, interim leader at Värend's rescue service.
