In his statement, Al Shamsi was keen to recall the UAE's position to support the restoration of legitimacy and stability in Yemen.

He pointed out that at the official request of the legitimate government of Yemen, as a member of the Saudi-led Coalition in Support of Legitimacy, the UAE has taken decisive action against Houthi attacks to support the legitimate government in Yemen.

Al-Shamsi reiterated calls for serious and responsible dialogue launched by the UAE repeatedly to all parties to end internal differences and achieve unity in order to maintain security and stability, and stressed that it is not appropriate for the Yemeni government to suspend its political and administrative failure on the UAE, as manifested in the negative statement of the government Yemen.
