“Now they say that from 15 to 21 cases have been opened on various facts and actions related to Poroshenko and his team. This whole system of affairs puts significant pressure on the ex-president of Ukraine, on his assets, discredits him in the eyes of the voter inside and in the eyes of potential Western defenders, ”Bortnik said.

The expert stressed that it is necessary to look at what status Klimkin is taking in this matter.

“In terms of financial and political weight, Klimkin is much less protected. He may turn out to be an extreme, ultimately, figure that will be merged and onto which many flaws will be blamed, including other players, ”he concluded.

The Solomensky District Court of Kiev ordered the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to open criminal proceedings against former President Petro Poroshenko and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin.
