The San Francisco International Airport has officially banned the sale of drinks in plastic bottles. Now water, soda, lemonade and tea in containers of less than 1 liter can be purchased only in glass or aluminum. About 100 special coolers are planned to be installed in the building so that passengers can fill their bottles with water. In the long term, the San Francisco airborne could become the first airport in the world without plastic waste.
