Twelve participants were presented today and, as usual, a huge mix of sports will be represented. One of this year's participants is Pernilla Johansson from Kalmar. Maybe not so well known among the large masses, but with a huge credit account in the baggage.
Her active career ended in 2008. By then she had taken the World Cup gold in both Thai boxing and kick boxing. She is also a double European gold medalist in taekwondo.
To say yes to the Master's champion was a matter of course, a happy Pernilla Johansson tells SVT.
- I was so happy when they called, at the same time I felt honored.
How's the shape?
- Of course, if I compare myself to myself, it is worse than before, but I still think I keep the form to be with.
What feelings do you have for the competitions?
- Mixed emotions. You love to compete and it will be fun to test. All branches and obstacles look really funny.
Who wins then?
- Myself, haha! But if you want to be humble and say something else, it will be Ida Ingemarsdotter, says Pernilla Johansson.
