“For part of the money received from sources not provided by law, Cherkalin acquired property that he registered with his relatives and friends,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
It is noted that the total legal income of Cherkalin, his relatives and friends since 2005, 2019 amounted to no more than 55 million rubles.
In April, it became known about the detention of the head of the department of one of the FSB units - Cherkalin. He is suspected of receiving bribes on an especially large scale and sent to arrest.
