The PSOE has answered with a resounding "no" to the document 'Proposal to resume the dialogue. For a comprehensive coalition government agreement sent to you this morning by Podemos, in search of a coalition executive. "With the failed investiture the unfeasibility of a coalition government was evident," the Socialists have settled in a statement. Therefore, they demand Pablo Iglesias to stop "working" in the "direction" of a coalition, which has already become "unfeasible."

According to Ferraz, the lack of agreement with the purple coalition showed that Unidos Podemos promotes "the real existence of two governments within the same Council of Ministers." In addition, the PSOE again highlights "the important differences that both formations have in matters of state, such as the crisis of coexistence in Catalonia."

The third argument of the Socialist Executive is the most devastating, in qualitative terms: "The negotiation carried out and the subsequent parliamentary vote have contributed to seriously increasing the distrust between the two formations."

Of course, the PSOE extends its hand to an "open and progressive" programmatic agreement that serves to conceive a Portuguese or Danish government. "We appreciate the proposal that, programmatically, is very close to us. In content, the document has many of the measures that were already part of the investiture speech of the Socialist candidate for the Presidency of the Government," the Socialists flatter. "However, there is no progress on the position that Unidos Podemos has maintained from the beginning," they lament.

Faced with the requests of the United Podemos meeting, those of Pedro Sánchez answer that they will not get out of their prescribed script: first they will present a program and then discuss it. "Throughout the month of August, the Socialist Party will end the dialogue with civil society and present its progressive open program to be discussed with the rest of the political forces, especially with United We Can." "We hope that a broad agreement can be achieved. that allows to unblock the political situation and that, soon, Spain counts on the government that the Spaniards voted for the most part: a progressive, feminist, ecologist and Europeanist government led by the PSOE, "the statement added.
