Peskov noted that, in addition to the heads of the two states, the meetings were also held by representatives of delegations, foreign ministers and international affairs aides.

“All this can be described as a rich, constructive and confidential dialogue ... We checked the clock on the main issues of both the bilateral and international agenda,” said the spokesman for the Russian leader.

At the same time, he emphasized that, despite possible disagreements, the interlocutors demonstrated a will to dialogue.

“All these negotiations do not mean that the interlocutors agreed with each other, but they rather consistently demonstrated their political will to discuss all the issues - both those on which there are conflicting opinions, and those on which there are disagreements,” Peskov concluded.

Earlier, Macron published a Russian-language post on Facebook, in which he expressed hope for the further development of relations between Russia and France.
