It was on Saturday morning that the alarm came in about the threatening man with a knife in the residential area Brattås in Kungsbacka municipality.
On Tuesday, he was arrested after negotiations behind closed doors in Varberg's district court, suspected of attempted serious abuse and grossly unlawful threats.
Prosecution should be filed no later than September 11 at 11am.
The man denies the charges.
