It is a document that makes him talk in the DRC. In a letter circulating on social networks, the head of the powerful National Intelligence Agency (ANR) asks for an audit of all the money spent by the various ministries since the inauguration of Felix Tshisekedi last January.

The letter with the name ANR is dated August 17th. In a few paragraphs, ANR leader Justin Inzun Kakiak orders the Inspector General of Finance to audit " all disbursements from the Public Treasury to all government ministries since the investiture of Felix Tshisekedi ". Clearly, each expenditure incurred by the various departments since last January must be examined.

Why this initiative now? For several weeks, NGOs and civil society actors have reported suspicions of embezzlement in various ministries. The Congolese association for access to justice is pleased as well as the National Intelligence Agency comes to put the nose in these accusations.

However, other sources see this mail as a more political measure. One way to put pressure on Felix Tshisekedi when he must make public his government expected for seven months .

Be that as it may, on social networks, there are many who call for this audit to be extended to the expenses of the presidency, and not only to the ministries. Which, according to them, would be a real proof of transparency and change in the Congo.
