“If these three measures are implemented, we can get about a 20% reduction in tariffs for all consumers - large, medium and small businesses, for budgetary institutions and organizations, kindergartens and schools,” he said during a briefing broadcast by NEWSONE.
In particular, it is proposed to introduce special obligations to reduce tariffs for Ukrhydroenergo and Energoatom.
In addition, according to Gerus, the marginal restrictions on the price of electricity in the market should be changed.
“It makes sense to slightly increase the night price ... about 10%. And the daily price should be reduced, since it is much higher than in all European countries ... can be reduced by 20%. Thus, this may give an additional reduction in the final tariff for the consumer by another 9%, ”he said.
He also called for controlling coal reserves in warehouses in preparation for the heating season.
“You can’t use coal reserves in warehouses as a way of blackmail in order to obtain high tariffs. We would like this to not be repeated and the companies to keep sufficient volumes of coal in warehouses, ”concluded the representative of Zelensky.
Earlier, Gerus made a shortage of electricity in Ukraine and an increase in tariffs for Ukrainian consumers.
In June, Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill to reduce electricity prices for Ukrainians.
