"After notifying the Service, the YouTube video hosting administration restricted access to a record with information expressing a clear disrespect for the official state symbols of Russia," the statement said.
According to Izvestia, the department reminded that it had repeatedly sent notifications to Google about the need to delete illegal information.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor noted that Google ignored three requests from the department to remove content on YouTube with an insult to the state symbols of Russia.
In June, YouTube blocked a video in which gang leaders and extremist organizations declared disrespect for the national emblem of Russia.
