“Negotiations on air links between the Czech Republic and Russia are scheduled for Friday, September 13 this year in Prague. They will be led by the heads of the civil aviation departments of the ministries of transport of both countries, ”RIA Novosti quotes Yemelku.

He said that the Czech side “proposed as possible dates for negotiations on September 6 or 10, but at the request of the Russian side they will be held on September 13”.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Transport of Russia proposed the Czech side to postpone consideration of the issue of air traffic between the two countries until September of this year.

The representative of the Czech Ministry of Transport, Frantisek Yemelka, later confirmed that the parties agreed to maintain the current traffic volume.

On July 2, Aeroflot, Ural Airlines and Pobeda announced the cancellation of part of flights to Prague and Karlovy Vary in connection with the relevant decision of the Czech aviation authorities. Subsequently, it became known that the Czech Republic was allowed to resume flights of Russian airlines in the country until July 7.
