In May this year, police seized 472 grams of amphetamine and 644 tablets of Alprazolam, also a drug-classified drug, from a community room in Umeå. The drug was found hidden behind a mirror in the room. The police then replaced the hiding place with sugar or something similar. The 29-year-old was later caught by police when he went to the scene to retrieve what he thought was the drug.

Previously convicted

In addition to this, the man is also convicted of unlawful driving, drunk driving, violation of the Knife Act and even gunfire after police found 50 cartridges of ammunition at an address linked to the man.

The man is previously listed under 18 sections of the load register and has previously been in prison for weapons offenses and drug offenses.

Against this background, the district court ruled that the man should be sentenced to two years in prison.
