The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has concluded a first session devoted to "junglers", the former henchmen of Yahya Jammeh. A session particularly rich in revelations.

No more secrets, no more rumors, the "junglers" have come before the Commission to tell their truth. Eight of these former henchmen of former president Yahya Jammeh were heard in two weeks. Nearly a hundred assassinations were mentioned, between 2004 and 2016.

Alieu Jeng , the last "jungler" auditioned, finally admitted his participation in 40 assassinations. The killing machine was remote controlled by former president Yahya Jammeh, according to his henchmen. Ten days ago, during a difficult hearing, he admitted to having lied after accumulating contradictory accounts. And ended up admitting his participation in several crimes, including the murder of journalist Deyda Hydara. Monday morning, he also admitted his participation in the execution of about thirty migrants ghanées in 2005.

The victims and their families were shocked by this avalanche of revelations. They felt humiliated the day the Minister of Justice ordered the release of four soldiers without asking for prosecution.

Two "junglers" remain in detention in conditions that surprise the Advocate General. The soldiers are not in isolation. " You discuss the Commission between you, do not you ? Asked the lawyer. " No, no, " replied Alieu Jeng. " And you think we'll believe you? The general advocate was annoyed. Laying bare the fragile architecture of the Truth Commission, based on words.

Alieu Jeng reveals that he is in detention with another Jungler Ismaïla Jammeh.
