The Fujairah Misdemeanor Court has heard the case of an Asian cleaner who is accused of stealing a Gulf smartphone he forgot in a mall. The defendant confessed to keeping the phone but failed to know the "password" to use it, which led to the discovery of his crime.

The victim said that he forgot his phone while shopping with his family in a shopping center and did not feel that he lost him until hours after leaving the center, pointing out that he submitted a report in the police that he lost his phone, especially after he returned to the security office in the center and make sure that he is not present.

When the judiciary faced the accused, he did not deny that he had kept the phone with him and did not tell the security officer at the center that he had found him while cleaning floors and dining tables. Head to the nearest phone shop to unlock the password. Enter the suspicion of the same employee who works in the shop and contact the police in order to hand over the cleaner to justice.

The judiciary postponed the judgment pending the completion of hearings.
