According to preliminary information from the GDB, during a planned flight, the Mi-2 helicopter, after a successful take-off, climbed to a height of about 4-5 meters, and then fell to its side. In total, there were two crew members on board - they were not injured, nothing threatens their lives and health.
It is clarified that in the event of an open criminal proceedings under Art. 416 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“violation of the rules of flight or preparation for them, as well as violation of the rules of operation of aircraft, which entailed a catastrophe or other grave consequences”). In case of proof of guilt, the military men are facing imprisonment for a period of 5 to 15 years.
Earlier it was reported that a Mi-2 helicopter crashed at the Brody airport in the Lviv region during take-off.
