The flight recorders of the Airbus A-321 Ural Airlines plane, which made an emergency landing in the Moscow Region, are serviceable. This is stated on the website of the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), which is engaged in their decoding and analysis of records.

“At the IAC scientific and technical center, a survey of on-board recorders was conducted, which established the proper condition of both recorders (speech and parametric) and the presence of emergency flight records on them. Decryption and analysis of these records is underway, ”the agency said.

Representatives of the Federal Air Transport Agency and the French Bureau of Investigation (BEA) also take part in the investigation of the incident. The presence of the latter is determined by the Chicago Convention of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) - BEA represents the country in which the engine and aircraft were developed.

“The commission also involved specialists from aircraft and engine manufacturers, Ural Airlines, as well as other necessary specialists. An authorized representative of Great Britain has been appointed to represent the interests of the state of registration of the aircraft (Bermuda), ”the IAC emphasized.

“The dismantling work has begun”

Meanwhile, the aircraft itself began to be prepared for export from the corn field, on which he made an emergency landing. This was reported by TASS with reference to the operational headquarters for the liquidation of the consequences of the accident.

“Work has begun on the dismantling of the passenger compartment and passenger seats,” the source said.

A TASS source emphasized that permission from the Investigative Committee was obtained due to the fact that employees of the department almost completed all work at the scene. In addition to the seats and the interior, it is also necessary to dismantle the engines and wings, the source added.

“Under the plane they will lead inflatable pontoons, lift them up, unlock wings and then load them onto the platform and deliver them to the LII named after Gromov, ”TASS quotes him.

"Time was short"

Recall that on Thursday, August 15, an Ural Airlines Airbus A321 plane took off from Zhukovsky Airport in the direction of Simferopol. On board were 233 people, including the crew. Almost immediately after takeoff, the airliner collided with a flock of gulls that got into the engines and interrupted their operation.

The aircraft was controlled by commander Damir Yusupov and co-pilot Georgy Murzin. According to Yusupov, initially they wanted to turn around and sit in Zhukovsky, but they did not have time for this, and therefore had to sit in the field.

“The decision changed several times ... I planned to gain a certain height, linger on it, work out a failure (engine. - RT ), make a decision, calculate everything. But, as it turned out later, time was generally short, ”he said after the incident.

Landing was made on the "belly" of the aircraft - the pilots decided not to extend the landing gear for safety reasons, Yusupov emphasized. He said that the team was considering various options, however, landing on the field was most preferable.

“There were other options, but it’s good that we didn’t take them, because we sat down without rolls, with a normal pitch angle, softened. If other attempts were made - to return ... I don’t know how this could end, ”added the commander of A321.

Note that the co-pilot, George Murzin, was hospitalized with chest injuries, but later he was sent home for outpatient treatment. This was reported to the TASS agency by the general director of Ural Airlines Sergey Skuratov.

“I do not consider myself a hero”

As a result of the accident, 76 passengers, including 19 children, needed the help of doctors, and only one woman needed hospitalization - her condition was rated as moderate, but with positive dynamics. Mostly they got bruises. They will also receive payments, since everyone was insured.

The passengers themselves, members of the public and officials noted the heroism and high skill of the crew. Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded pilots the titles of Heroes of Russia, and awarded the rest of the team with orders of Courage.

“I signed a decree on rewarding the crew of an aircraft, which, as you know, made a hard-landed hard landing at Zhukovsky’s airport,” Putin said. “The aircraft commander and co-pilot were awarded the titles of Heroes of the Russian Federation, all other crew members were awarded the Order of Courage.”

At the same time, Yusupov himself said that he was doing his job and did not consider himself a hero.

“Many say that it’s a hero, but honestly, I don’t feel myself at all, because I did what I had to do, I saved the plane, passengers, crew. I think this was the only solution. I don’t consider myself a hero, ”he said on the Russia 1 television channel.
