In the south of France, nine people were injured during the launch of fireworks

The incident occurred on Saturday night, August 17, during a festive show that was watched by several thousand people.

According to preliminary data, one of the charges exploded on a barge with which a salute was launched, and then several burning elements of the fireworks fell into the crowd of spectators.

Three victims were hospitalized with burns, the rest was assisted on the spot.

Authorities launched an investigation into the incident.

In July, during a festive salute in Minsk, a woman died from a fragment of a shell, eight more people were injured.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, the cause of the explosions of fireworks was the poor-quality charges of one of the calibers of pyrotechnics.
