The man was arrested after a Danish prosecutor issued a Nordic arrest warrant, but he has refused to be handed over to Denmark.

He is suspected of the blast at the tax house in Copenhagen on August 6. Another man from the Malmö area is suspected of interference.

- We have arrested a 22-year-old Swedish man, and are calling for a 23-year-old Swedish man internationally. They are suspected of the explosion at the Tax Board, said police chief Jörgen Bergen Skov at a press conference on Tuesday.

Has run for office in municipal elections

When another Nordic country requests that a person be surrendered, the matter is tried in court, unless the person has agreed to surrender - in such cases, the prosecutor can make the decision on his own without going through court.

The 22-year-old who was arrested has previously been punished, the 23-year-old is convicted of assault.

Both are written in neighboring municipalities in Malmö and the man who is still wanted has been nominated as a candidate for the Left Party in a previous municipal election.
