“A procedural check is being carried out on the fact that in the last few days seven residents of the regional center were delivered to medical institutions of the city with suspicion of poisoning, two of whom subsequently died,” the statement said on the agency’s website.
It is noted that investigators, among other things, are checking the version of "about the poisoning of artisanal oils delivered when consuming vegetable oil."
Earlier it was reported that seven residents of the Ulyanovsk region, including two children, were hospitalized after poisoning, according to preliminary data, home-made sunflower oil.
