According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2018, more than 28 thousand protocols of violations of the anti-tobacco law were drawn up.

“The employees of the internal affairs bodies in railway, air and water transport are conducting systematic work to counteract violations of the tobacco smoking prohibition established by federal law,” Vanichkin said.

In March, Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev said that in 2018, police officers drew up about 470 thousand protocols on the facts of smoking citizens in public places.
