He is tired after being awake all night, on the spot by the burning hall.

- Someone on a balcony on Parkgatan sounded alarm after seeing a light in the forest and felt a smoke smell. When the rescue service came to the tennis hall, it burned a lot on the side of the hall, it had been going on for a while, says Lars Månsson.

Absolutely ideal building

The tennis hall in Arvika was built in the 1980s by completely non-profit forces according to Månsson. That someone is now suspected to have lit up is uncomfortable.

- If someone has lit up there may be a threat to the association. It may happen again. We are looking into whether we can have any mobile monitoring system at the hall and security guard.

Hope for help

It is still too early to say what the damage is after the fire and how to repair the tennis court. But with only 350 members and a high deductible, the fire hits the tennis club hard, says Månsson.

- We may be able to get help from the residents and the municipality to solve this. I do not know.
