It is noted that on August 15 at about 03:00 a suspect, a native of Vologda, and his friend were in a forest in northern Moscow. During the patrol, they were noticed by police officers and demanded to provide documents.
The men made an attempt to hide.
“Once in the territory of the Khimki urban district, they were overtaken by the police. At that moment, the suspect stabbed the policeman with a knife in the abdomen, ”the press service said.
The case was brought under Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of Russia (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer).
Earlier in Surgut, a man attacked with police with a knife, as a result, one law enforcement officer was killed and another was injured.
