According to the notifier, a student at a school in Robertsfors municipality has on several occasions been subjected to abusive treatment of other students and thus experienced insecurity in the school. The student, among other things, must have been beaten in the stomach by another student.

Robertsfors Municipality agrees that there has been abusive treatment and that staff should have acted and talked with the student who did this immediately. Several other incidents should have occurred to the student and the municipality states that some of these are abusive treatment while others do not agree with other students' stories. Some events must have been a game.

- When we investigated the matter, we found that there were times when routines were not followed, where events were not reported correctly. We have now made efforts towards the staff and made clear the importance of following the routines. Now a new semester is about to start, so we will go through the procedures again with the staff, says the headmaster at the school to SVT.

The student now feels safe

The School Inspectorate considers that the measures taken should have made the pupil now feel better and feel safe in school, but that measures are still needed to create security and study peace.

Robertsfors Municipality therefore receives a note from the School Inspectorate. The motivation for the decision states, among other things, that all children and students have the right to develop and learn in a safe environment and are treated with respect.
