“In May, Georgia exported more than 4.5 million bottles of wine to Russia, in June - more than 4.2 million, and in July, wine exports fell to more than 3.5 million bottles, which is 27% less than in July last year, ”- stated in a statement.

Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said that the damage to the country's tourism industry from reducing the flow of tourists from Russia amounted to about $ 60 million.

Yury Barzykin, Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT), in an interview with Nation News, praised Bakhtadze’s statement.
