A 39-year-old man was arrested on Thursday as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault that took place in San Sebastián in the early hours of last Tuesday, the Basque Department of Security reported.

The event occurred during the celebration of the Big Week and the victim denounced the events, recorded around three in the morning of the 13th, after which proceedings were opened to try to locate the alleged perpetrator of the violation.

This Thursday he has been identified and detained and, once the procedures in Ertzaintza units are finished, he will go to court.
