The Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate of Operations and Control Centers received 32,435 calls and communications from the public throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the Eid Al-Adha, while the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi confirmed that there were no major fire incidents during the Eid.

Brigadier Nasser Al Maskari, Director of Operations Department, explained that the teams are ready to receive reports and calls and coordinate with the concerned authorities to reach the site of the accident as soon as possible.

Al-Maskari stressed the high number of calls received to the centers, pointing out that most of them are calls for traffic accidents ranging from simple traffic congestion or some health emergencies.

He called on the public to cooperate with the awareness initiatives implemented by the Abu Dhabi Police Security Information Department to introduce police services and intensify public awareness activities and not hesitate to call the 999 emergency telephone in case of any emergency they may face at any time.

The Operations Department receives reports and calls around the clock at all times and is concerned with providing the best and the best services to the public and coordinating with the concerned authorities to reach the emergency cases as soon as possible.

In a related context, the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi intensified its efforts in the fields of awareness and prevention of summer fires by taking the necessary measures in various establishments and places such as houses, factories and commercial shops, stressing that no fire accidents occurred during the Eid Al-Adha holiday on the Emirate level except for minor fires that have been dealt with. There were no casualties.

She praised the public cooperation in the application of prevention and safety requirements in order to avoid accidents, pointing to the efforts of the Media and Public Relations Department in the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi in organizing awareness programs that include guidelines and preventive principles to reduce the spread of summer fires in general.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense - Abu Dhabi urged the importance of joint cooperation to spread preventive awareness aimed at reducing the spread and spread of fires in public places, and the collection of waste and construction waste that often contains highly flammable materials, pointing out the importance of prevention of fires caused by electrical loads.

She stressed the need not to overload the electrical power and electrical outlets and warned against the wrong use of devices and technical equipment such as the operation of suction fans in the kitchens for long periods, exposing them to excessive heat and then ignition.
