Every day, several school students, bus travelers, cyclists and vehicles pass the crossing in Huskvarna. The municipality now hopes for better accessibility and greater safety for unprotected road users.
The rebuilding begins week 34, the same week many schools start.
- Our goal is not to disturb traffic flow more than necessary and we are therefore working in different stages. Despite this, accessibility during the construction period will be affected and queues can be formed during rush hour traffic, says Fredrik Hanzek, who is the project manager for the work in a press release from Jönköping Municipality.
The work is expected to be completed in November.
