RFSU Uppsala's project "Be, choose and enjoy - a project about communication, boundaries and gender roles" will be implemented together with MÄN Uppsala.

- It feels great fun and it is extra fun that we will work with MÄN Uppsala, says Matilda Strömberg Djäken, project manager at RFSU Uppsala.

Focus on mutual sex

The project focuses on voluntary and mutual sex in the form of discussion groups and workshops. It will be implemented with students from upper secondary and upper secondary schools in socio-economically vulnerable areas in the county.

- The purpose is to prevent sexual violence in young people's close relationships, says Matilda Strömberg Djäken.

Being, choosing and enjoying will last for a year. In September, two people will start working full time with the project.

- We do not have an exact start date at this time. It is an innovative project so method and implementation need to be further developed, says Matilda Strömberg Djäken.

Honor victims learn to live themselves

The TRIS project "Bo self academy" is aimed at the victims of honor violence who live with a protected identity that has broken with their family. The purpose is for them to learn how to take the step and live themselves.

- It's all about paying bills to social codes. But not least about learning to live a life of protection, which often becomes very lonely, says Talin Davidian, president of TRIS.

Bo self-academy starts in early September. Some of TRIS staff will have the main responsibility, but all employees will contribute with experience and knowledge.

- It feels very necessary. Finally. Many of our girls feel anxious about how life should go. This will help them a lot, says Talin Davidian.
