A fire broke out yesterday in a large number of caravans for workers' accommodation in the third industrial zone in Sharjah. The Civil Defense teams in Sharjah moved to the scene of the fire and managed to control the flames without causing any human casualties.
The Civil Defense Department in Sharjah confirmed that a report was received to the Civil Defense Operations Room at 2:28 pm yesterday, that a fire incident occurred in a number of caravans of workers' housing in the third industrial area in Al Helio.The fire was brought under control and extinguished and the necessary cooling operations were carried out.
She pointed out that despite the large number of caravans, but the «Civil Defense» managed to control the fire in record time, without any injuries, and is under investigation by the concerned authorities to determine the cause of the fire and estimate the size of the losses.
