Former OM striker Mario Balotelli is about to engage with Brescia, promoted to Serie A, several Italian media said on Wednesday.

According to the Gazzetta Dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, the sulphurous striker, looking for a new club after the end of his contract with Marseille last June, should sign for three years with the club of Northern Italy.

According to Gazzetta, the amount of the transaction will be approximately three million euros (including bonuses).

Balotelli, a 29-year-old man who had long been announced in Flamengo, has reportedly refused to join the Brazilian club to return to the city where he grew up, and who returns to Serie A, Italy's first rung, for the first time since 2011 and his relegation to Serie B.

In Brescia, the international 36 selections hopes to continue the good performance to reconnect with the "Nazionale", which he has not integrated for almost a year and a match of qualifications to Euro 2020 against Poland , in September 2019.

After two and a half seasons in Nice (43 goals) that he had joined free in 2016, and less than six months in Marseille (8 goals in 15 games), "Super Mario" returns to the country, three years after his last visit at AC Milan, then loaned by Liverpool.

It was on this side of the Alps that Balotelli had revealed himself. With Inter Milan, where he played between 2007 and 2010, he even won, in his last year, the Champions League under the command of José Mourinho.

In the wake, the N.9, vice-champion of Europe with Italy in 2012, had engaged with Manchester City (2010-2013), with whom he has won the Premier League.
