Three men have been arrested in Blanes (Girona) as alleged perpetrators of sexual abuse of a young woman committed in this town in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, police sources reported today.
The detainees are two 19-year-olds and neighbors of Blanes and a 54-year-old man, a neighbor of Arenys de Mar (Barcelona), all of them of Cuban nationality and who apparently have family relations.
A girl of about 25 years, neighbor of Blanes has denounced that, after leaving the party, she accompanied the two young detainees to her home, where she was sexually assaulted both by them and by the third defendant.
In the early hours of the morning the young woman managed to call the emergency telephone number 112 to report the events and the Local Police managed to arrest two of them, the 54-year-old and one of the 19, while the victim was taken to the Hospital of Calella (Barcelona) to undergo a medical examination.
That same afternoon, the Mossos d'Esquadra managed to detain the other young man involved in the alleged sexual assault.
The three detainees have passed today at the disposal of the court of guard of Blanes, who has decreed for them provisional freedom without bail , withdrawal of passport, prohibition to leave the country, minimum distance of 500 meters from the victim and lack of communication with her by any means .
The facts have been qualified by the public ministry of sexual abuse with penetration , according to sources of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia.
