The Dubai Court of Appeal has commuted a fine in the case of mutual assault between Egyptian artist Wissam Reda Ismail, known as Zeina and her sister, and an American family of father (lawyer) and mother, to be only 5000 dirhams instead of 10,000 dirhams.

In the last hearing before the verdict, the Misdemeanor Court heard testimonies of a witness who happened to be in the restaurant when the incident took place. They talked with the actress, inquiring about why she assaulted their 12-year-old daughter. Zina's sister rushed to the mother, pushed her and then bitten her.The father tried to save her, but the actress beat him on his hand, pointing out that the father (the first accused) and the mother (the second accused) did not. He got a share of the attack when he tried to break up the fight.
