Antonin Bernanos has been detained since his indictment, on 18 April, for "violence in meetings" and "robbery with violence resulting in a disability exceeding eight days" during a fight.

The detention of Antonin Bernanos, figure of the anti-fascist movement and imprisoned since mid-April for a fight with the ultra-right, was prolonged Monday of four months by decision of the Court of Appeal of Paris, one learned from judicial source.

Incarcerated since April 18

The investigating chamber, seized of an appeal of the prosecutor's office, thus reversed the decision taken on August 2 by a judge of freedoms and detention who ordered his release under judicial control and under electronic bracelet beyond August 17 .

Antonin Bernanos, in detention in the prison of the Health, is incarcerated since his indictment, on April 18, for "violence in meeting" and "robbery with violence resulting in a disability greater than eight days" during a fight - to which he denies having participated - between his group and national militants - crossed identity in the night of April 15 to 16, near the cathedral Notre-Dame then on fire.

His relatives denounce a "state repression"

This sociology student had, a few days earlier, completed serving on parole, his five-year sentence (including two suspended sentence) for his participation in the resounding attack of a police car in May 2016, quai de Valmy in Paris.
