This Tuesday, August 13, the aspirants-presidents of the Republicans must officially submit their candidacy. If the final victory of Christian Jacob, current leader of the deputies LR, makes little doubt, they are two to want to challenge him: Guillaume Larrivé and Julien Aubert.

For several weeks, unknown to the general public, Guillaume Larrivé furrows the federations in search of support with a discourse centered on immigration and delinquency. But mobilizing in the middle of summer is not easy. At a few hours before the deadline for his candidacy, the member refused to say whether he had registered the required sponsorships. Either 10 elected and 1,300 members.

Reactivate a straight KO

Julien Aubert is more confident. Self-proclaimed candidate of " the popular right and campaigns ", the elected is said "well above the threshold " and has therefore set foot to afford a holiday. He will not be back until early September.

Two men who have only one idea in mind: beat the iron against Christian Jacob to try to resuscitate a straight knockout. The favorite has also started a tour of France and will accelerate the pace in early September.

Jacob garners support

Prompted by Laurent Wauquiez, Gérard Larcher or Valérie Pécresse, the leader of the deputies LR garners support since he declared himself. He will know within 10 days who he will campaign for an internal election scheduled for October 12 and 13.
