“The agenda ... includes two questions - on the consideration of fractions in the State Duma on the intervention of foreign states in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as on the creation of a commission of the State Duma on this issue,” the State Duma press service reported to RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the speaker of the lower house, Vyacheslav Volodin, said that the Council of the Duma would hold a meeting on August 19 regarding the situation with interference in Russia's internal affairs.

As noted in the Federation Council, Russia's goal is to close any loopholes in the legislation that create opportunities for foreign intervention.
