The man convicted of serious drug crime, doping, unlawful driving, minor drug crime and violation of the knife law wants the high court to significantly reduce the sentence. He denies drug crimes and doping crimes, and considers the district court's evidence to be erroneous and insufficient to convict. However, no new evidence is cited.

Six kilos of drugs

The man is a member of Bandidos and it was after a major search that was made around the turn of the year towards Bandido's premises in Lagan in Ljungby municipality, that the police received traces which led to a premises in central Jönköping.

In the room, four kilos of amphetamine and doping preparations were found in a bucket. In a previous strike last summer against the same man, two kilos of amphetamines were found in a tattoo studio to which the man was linked. In total, about six kilos of drugs.

Serious crime

Prosecutor Lena Medelius also appeals the district court's sentence of six years in prison for the man. She wants the crime of drugs to be judged as serious also on the basis that it constituted part of a business that was carried on to a greater extent and not just in view of the amount and the convicted man's role in the handling.

According to the prosecutor, the crimes together have a greater penalty value than what the district court sentenced.
