According to him, the new rules should summarize the existing rules regarding the ban on the use of electric fishing rods, explosives and gill nets.

“All restrictions for amateur fishing have already been established by the fishing rules for individual basins - East, North, Baikal, Yenisei and others,” said Molokov.

In particular, according to him, it is forbidden to use gill nets in Russia, but the new rules provide for the possibility of using them provided that certain categories of fishermen mark in the Far North, Siberia and the Far East, where “fishing by nets is the main source of food”.

In general, as the representative of the Federal Agency for Fishery noted, in each region this list can be narrowed or expanded.

He also said that the main innovation will be the rule on free and free fishing in all reservoirs, except those where fish are specially grown.

Earlier it became known that Rosrybolovstvo is developing six projects that regulate the powers of regional authorities in the field of restrictions on fishing.

The law also provides for the introduction of a daily catch rate in each region of Russia.

For example, in Moscow and the Moscow Region it is allowed to catch three zander, five pike, 30 crayfish and up to 50 fry with a total weight of not more than 5 kg per day.
