One tweet from US President Donald Trump was enough to postpone or even cancel the release of a film.

Trump launched an attack on Hollywood, describing it as liberal, accusing it of racism.``Hollywood has a lot of anger and hatred in it. Although they call themselves the elite, they are really not, '' he said.

Before he goes on to say that the "film", which is about to be released soon, the aim of its production is only to ignite the chaos and induce violence and racism, which would provoke sedition in the country.

Liberal Hollywood is Racist at the highest level, and with great Anger and Hate! They like to call themselves “Elite,” but they are not Elite. In fact, it is often the people that they so strongly oppose that are actually the Elite. The movie coming out is made in order ....

Though Trump did not name the film, the film industry, the press and the media are well aware that he is referring to the recently controversial "The Hunt," produced by Palmhouse Productions, which used to produce low-cost, independent horror films. Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and BlacKkKlansman won the Oscar earlier this year.

Politicization of art
According to IndyWire, the film was scheduled to be released in the United States next month and is based on a classic story by American writer and journalist Richard Connell, released in 1924 and titled "The Most Dangerous Game." Craig Zobel was directed by Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Glen Horton and Hillary Swank.

His story was supposed to be about 12 people waking up to find themselves in a remote area where they knew nothing. Unless they are reckoned to be there for hunting by a group of elite liberals seeking to hunt people from rural areas of the United States, known as “deplorables,” the same description Hillary Clinton used to describe some of Trump's supporters in the 2016 US presidential election.

According to The Guardian, Trump's comments came after a series of mass and brutal shootings took place a few days ago that killed 30 people in El Paso, Dayton and Ohio. This prompted the US president to attack films that he believes are a threat to the country and do more harm than good. It seems that this was not Trump's opinion alone.

Postponement or cancellation?
In the face of this new and unexpected drama line, Universal Pictures Studios did not seem to postpone the film marketing campaign for some time, to issue after a period during which it confirmed that the marketing campaign for the movie (Hunt) was completely stopped and all commercial and electronic advertisements were withdrawn.

Before adding that while it encourages creators to submit their cynical and bold ideas, but the company can recognize that this is not the time to risk the production of such a film, especially with the current tense atmosphere, which means canceling the film after the industry was a few days He came out of the light.

Can the cancellation be temporary until the storm passes and we will see work even years later, as has happened with other works such as "The Interview," the story of the plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong, but immediately after the release of the film, the company received "Sony Pictures" threats through hackers infiltrated the company's computers.

The pirates have released a series of classified Sony documents including details about upcoming movies, highly-classified employee social security numbers and threats of public terrorism at theaters, forcing Sony Pictures to postpone the film for a while.
