Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have been sold out on a box-office video as part of an advertising campaign to promote a Portuguese telecom company.

The two stars appear in a video posted on social media wearing boxing gloves and teeth protectors, standing on the ring with the referee before the fight began between them.

They pretend to be professional boxers like former world champion Floyd Mayweather, before Brazilian music starts and Neymar dances while Ronaldo bursts into laughter.

The odd ad evolves with the participation of some other stars before they all turn into a wrestling game with masks on their faces, and finally compete in table tennis but using chopsticks instead of racket.

The ads were filmed in the Italian city of Turin, where Juventus star Ronaldo, 34, lives.

There have been reports of Ronaldo trying to persuade Juventus to sign Neymar, 27, where he wants to leave Paris St Germain, but recent reports have indicated that he is close to moving to Real Madrid.
