Two people have been arrested, suspected of trying to murder a man in Växjö during the night on Sunday, police say.
Police were alerted to the man's home, in the Arab district, shortly after midnight. The man had then been badly beaten and taken to hospital by ambulance.
- He had injuries that required care and was then taken to hospital by ambulance. The housing was blocked off while waiting for a technical investigation, says police spokesman Peter Kjällkvist.
On Sunday, the police investigation led to the two suspects, who were then arrested.
A report of attempted murder has been prepared.
